I'm a Technology executive with a long international background in deploying the first of its kind technology-led services. During these years leading cross-functional and cross-cultural teams, I found anxiety, stress, and inability to express emotions a major factor in team performance degradation. Often leading to psychological imbalances and team members refusing to return to projects and sometimes resign and disappear. Young engineers were often the victims as they were just starting to navigate the early stages of their career faced with toxic management & new socio-economic environments. Often, I would handle these situations by providing a safe environment for them to speak up and nourish them back with healthy food and conversation.
